What will you be doing?

As a Productivity Engineer: 

  • You will be number one important person who is responsible for finding new development opportunities to make production process more efficient.

  • You will analyze, plan and perform improvement projects with our production OEE software to the production lines and design solutions for existing products and processes to improve factory productivity.

  • Your tasks will include researching investment needs of new technologies and equipment, from needs to implementation. 

  • You’re always on the lookout for improving our manufacturing methods and problem-solving the current production challenges.

This person is responsible for making factory more LEAN and efficient in every possible way - making instructions to employees if needed, training operators, and making the equipment faster, efficient and safe.

Meconet has Software called Evocon, which is filing their stamping machine OEE (Overall Equipment Efficiency) and the Productivity Engineer will be the main person responsible for the upkeep and developing the system.

How does the following week looks like at Meconet?

Meconet AS is a dynamic, future-looking, and rapidly developing factory, where new customer needs are on the table every day.

For example here is how does the following week sounds like: planning and setting up a new automated ultrasonic washing machine line, designing an assembly jig for a multi-million process line or changing the layout according to LEAN principles of an automatic assembly machine production area to increase the OEE.

Work is 30% at the office, but mostly on the factory floor.

You’re also working in matrix with Meconet Group quality function, and with Meconet Vantaa factory.

We’d love to hear from you if you have:

  • 3+ years relevant work experience in similar position

  • B.Sc or M.Sc in engineering or in equivalent field

  • Customer oriented and collaborating attitude, and willingness to operate with international contacts

  • Organized and structured working methods

  • Ability to structure and prioritize personal and team tasks

  • LEAN-thinking, continuous improvement attitude and knowledge of problem-solving tools

  • Hands-on attitude and analytical mindset

  • Fluent spoken and written English skills, and good level of Estonian and Russian
