Skyways Technics is currently launching its new structure repair facility in Debrecen, Hungary (target opening in June 2023). We are looking for Aircraft Structure Component Painters with confirmed experience in the aircraft painting process that will be part of day-to-day operations in our structural workshops, and taking care of all kinds of structure component surface treatment and rework. The Aircraft Structure Component Painter will report to the Workshops Manager.

About the role of Painter in Skyways Technics at Debrecen, Hungary

Understand the life cycle of components in our workshops, and take of each project individually to the expected level of perfection as for surface treatment and rework, which includes, stripping, scuffing, seam sealing, sanding, and finishing as per Maintenance Data.

Handle the day-to-day paint shop operations, following planning and shop supervisor's inputs and priorities.

Keep the paint shop and all its associated tools and fixtures in a perfectly clean state.

Keep close follow-ups on paint shop inventory levels and perform accurate posting of used quantities in our IT system.

Ensure the overall quality of works performed, reworking when needed, and paying close attention to detail and various paint layer thicknesses at all times.

Manage the good drying process after paint, meeting specific schedules imposed by Planning or customers.

Perform specific customer requests when needed

Practicing necessary maintenance, records, and safety procedures.   

Requirements for the position

  • Working technical English knowledge/reading and understanding of work instructions.

  • Microsoft Office literacy.

  • Aviation Maintenance general training and willingness to successfully complete the necessary training with us

  • Comprehensive working experience in Part-145 maintenance organization in the field of aircraft painting or similar process.

  • Team and performance oriented, with a high sense of responsibility towards the expected quality of work
